Better together | MFT April Countdown Day 1

Hello Crafty Friends! It's the Final Countdown for MFT's new April Release! I couldn't resist sharing inspiration featuring the new Better Together stamp set, which makes an adorable action wobbler interactive card.

I started with the card front and trimmed an A2-sized rectangle with pattern paper from the Colorful Canvas paper pad. Let's get a little inky! For our background, I die-cut the largest Wonky Stitched Rectangle with Bristol Smooth Cardstock, and I added a wave detail using an older MFT stencil and Oxide inks in Mermaid Lagoon and Prize Ribbon. I wanted a bright daylight effect, and ink blended the sky with Oxide Inks in Squeezed Lemonade and added rays using masking paper and Spiced Marmalade (MFT's Ray of Light Stencil is now at the top of my shopping list ).

Next, I stamped and coloured the main images from Better Together using MFT's Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers. Once I was happy with the blend, I die-cut all the images using the coordinating die set. With the die-cutting all done, I'll assemble all the pieces to the card front, adding an Action Wobbler to the boat

To finish off the card, I'll add a stamped sentiment directly on the card front and a random assortment of sequins. Thank you so much for stopping by! For even more sneak peeks and inspiration, head on over to the MFT Blog!

Jess
