Celebrating Easter with The Blue Jays|SSS Wednesday Challenge “Anything Goes”

Hello Everyone! Happy Easter weekend! We’re celebrating with The Toronto Blue Jays tomorrow and I thought a baseball themed card was perfect for my little guy!

I started with the card front and die cut an A2 sized stitched rectangle in Fog cardstock. Using Versamark Ink I stamped eggs from the Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny set in a random pattern.

For contrast I added the largest Wonky Oval from MFT styled like a baseball. Using the the oval die I traced the edges with a pencil going over with a red Spectrum Noir Marker and black Artliner pen. For a final detail, I added grass using a scrap from my never-ending stash.

Now for the star, I coloured the Cool Chick in blue in honour of our home team – even though my little guy is actually a Yankees fan (shhhh don’t tell anyone).

To finish off the card I added the Easter word die and Speech Bubble die from Heffy Doodle and an Ink Road Stamps sentiment, because my little guy is super Eggstra!
