Hi everyone! It’s Christmas in July over at Scrap ‘N Stamp and I’ve got a cute and cheery festive MFT and Lawn Fawn card to share today.
I started by creating an A2 sized stitched rectangle with water color paper. To create a winter sky I blended Worn Lipstick, Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks.
To set the scene, I die cut the snow banks using stitched hillside borders and added a secondary sentiment with a trio of ink colours. I then heat set “May your Christmas be” using white embossing powder on black card stock.
Next, I stamped the main images using MFT’s Forest Friends and some Lawn Fawn Christmas accessories from my stash and colored in using alcohol markers. I love mixing and matching sets, especially when they are seasonal.
To finish off the card, I added a Rudolph effect with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Autumn Red, Diamond Stickles for the tree ornaments and 3D foam tape for dimension.
Now for the fun part! To celebrate we have 7 Christmas embellishment prize packs up for grabs! Contest open until July 28th, be sure to leave a comment on each stop of the hop. Here’s the line-up:
Thanks so much for stopping by!
