Hi everyone, I’m so excited that it’s hop day with Chibitronics & Heffy Doodle! I’ve got a super sweet “Big Bug Hugs” new baby card to share.
I started with the card front by ink blending Distress Oxide Ink in Shaded Lilac using the Ring A Rosies stencil. I then placed the coordinating dragonfly die in the center and ran it through my Gemini Jr.
Next, I stamped and coloured the main image using Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers. For the sentiment, I heat set white embossing powder on black card stock using the Special Day Sentiment Duos set.
For the interactive light up feature, I decided on a simple circuit using LED stickers, cooper tape and a paper door for the battery. Check out an awesome tutorial by Lesley here. To finish off the card, I added coordinating sequins and 3D foam tape for dimension.
