Hip hip Yay! We're halfway to the big day, and I'm so excited to share a sweet sixteen card featuring new goodies perfect for creating birthday and celebratory cards.
To create today's card, I started with the card front. I trimmed an A2-sized rectangle with Bristol Smooth card stock and inked up the new Cue the Confetti Stencil. I wanted an ombre effect and went with Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade.
Next, I stamped the words in a random pattern from the Hip Hip Yay Day stamp set on a smaller rectangle to help ground our scene.
Now it's time to add a delicious slice of cake featuring the Happy Cake Day Die-namics set! I die-cut each piece with Bristol Smooth card stock and added colour by ink blending Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade and Spun Sugar.
To finish off the card, I added a "16" from the Hip Hip Yay Numbers stamp set, 3D foam tape for dimension and coordinating sequins.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and I cant wait to see you tomorrow for Countdown Day 2. For even more new release sneak peeks and inspiration head on over to the MFT Blog!
Crafty Hugs,
Jess
