Ice cream cones and endless summer nights

Wow, what a Monday. My Little is finally down, at last count he asked for 18 hugs, 7 kisses and 5 tuck-ins, and I will look back at this time one day and laugh even though today all I wanted to do is cry (and scream “just go to bed already!!). And let’s be honest, I will probably cry that day to, I need to remind myself to savour all of this.

With another bedtime conquered it’s time to pour a glass of wine and catch up on my crafty projects.

First up on my to-do list is today’s Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge ,”Summer fun”.

I was inspired by the Lawn Fawn “Party Animals” set, the little ice cream cone and cake brings me right back to the seemingly endless summer days when I was a kid (July baby here, summer goes hand in hand with birthdays). And lucky enough for me I have a sweet little niece who is celebrating her first birthday in couple of weeks and “Ellie” from my Avery Elle set is a perfect match for her.

Up next I have a birthday banner (time to put my We are memory keepers Banner punch board to the test), assorted party supplies, new baby cards, Halloween cards & tags and a thank you card set. I’m going to need some more wine… Jessica
