Jet Setting with Geology Rocks and the Heffy Doodle Release 2 Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for hopping along, today is THE day! I’m getting married guys! Eeek! I love when things just work out when I’m brainstorming cards and Geology Rocks was PERFECT for my Bridesmaids thank you cards.

I started by choosing a soft floral print for the base of the card and Die cut a 4.25x 5.5 rectangle to create an A2 card.

Next, it was time to have a little fun with the Jet Alphabetters. This took a little practice to figure out placement, I also found that placing a lined piece of paper under the card base helped with spacing. I used Versafine Onyx Black Ink and heat set clear embossing power.

Now on to the bling! I stamped each image again with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and heat set clear embossing powder. Next, I decided on a little colouring with my Spectrum Noir Markers. To finish off the jewels I added a generous layer of shine with my Clear Overlay Sparkle marker and Glossy Accents.
