Hi everyone! We’re still in vacation mode over here, we had a blast in Newfoundland but I’m so glad to get back into my craft room. Today I’m sharing a soft and sweet birthday card featuring Flora and Fauna’s Mermaid Love for Scrap ‘N Stamp.
I started by die cutting an A2 sized stitched rectangle using light grey card stock. To set the scene, I added a stitched oval using water color paper with “waves”. For an ocean effect I used a stencil and water reactive ink from my stash.
I stamped and colored in images from Mermaid Love using water proof black ink and water color pencil crayons. For the sentiment I mixed and matched “you are mer-mazng” with a “happy” die and “birthday” stamp from my stash.
To finish off the card I added clouds, 3D foam tape and coordinating sequins.
