Happy Sunday, thanks so much for stopping by! The Christmas crazy is well underway over here, and quick and simple seems to be the mantra of the season. Today, I’m sharing a pretty little number featuring the Modern Swirls Christmas Tree Craft Stamp by Simply Stamps.
I started with treating a piece of Kraft card stock with my anti static tool and stamped using Versamark Ink. Next, I heat set white embossing powder making sure to wipe away any stray powder with a clean fine paint brush. I wanted the tree to take centre stage and paired it with an oval die from my stash, for dimension I die cut a second oval using fun foam and adhered using a tape runner. This works really well when mailing cards and saves 3D foam squares.
For the card base, I die cut a piece of blue pattern paper to 4.25 x 5.5 to create a standard A2 sized card. I also wanted a little bit of bling and added a silver glitter scalloped rectangle and a few signature sequins to trim the tree.
To finish off the card and to add a little something, I had snowflake twine that I scored on sale at a local craft store AND actually used it before it was “found again” next year. Yay!
