Hello everyone! Today I'm so excited to be playing along with this week's MFT Sketch Challenge! It's been so fun stretching my creative muscles with these sketches, plus you can enter to win a $50 gift certificate. Find out all the details here.
To create today's card, I started with the card front. I trimmed an A2-sized rectangle with Caribbean Sea card stock. Next, I inked up the Never-Ending Love Background stamp with Versamark Ink for a monochromatic effect.
Next, I stamped and coloured the main images from Love you Gnome Matter What using MFT's Extreme Black Hybrid Ink and Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers. Once I was happy with the blend, I die-cut all the images using the coordinating die set.
Now we can work on the rest of the card. I trimmed a square using pattern paper from the Time to Celebrate pattern paper pad and die cut a heart just off to the side slightly. To kick it up just a notch, I added a shaker element. I didn't want the card to be bulky, so I added the shaker bits and adhered two pieces of acetate together.
To finish off the card I added a sentiment strip and coordinating sequins. I can't wait to see how this week's sketch inspires you! For even more inspiration, be sure to head on over to the MFT YouTube Channel!
Crafty Hugs,
Jess
