Poppin’ up to say, it’s been a slice|Lawn Fawn New Years Card

Happy almost New Year! Time has been flying by and I can’t wait to see what new adventures await for 2019. I’m LOVING the new Lawn Fawn release and have a super cute card to share today.

I started by creating the background using the Polka Heart Backdrop and Bristol Smooth card stock. Next, I blended Distress Oxide inks in Worn Lipstick and Wilted Violet. I then stamped and colored in the main images from Let’s Toast with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and alcohol markers.

Next up, I worked on the interactive portion using the Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-On. You can check out the full tutorial over on the Lawn Fawn Blog here.

I mixed and matched sentiments from both the Let’s Toast set and a New Year greeting from my stash. I heat set white embossing powder on black card stock which hid the pull tab mechanism perfectly. To finish off the card I added coordinating party accessories and clear sparkle marker overlay.

I hope you have a fabulous New Year! It’s been a blast being a part of the Scrap ‘N Stamp design team and I can’t wait to see all the new challenges and projects from the sidelines.
