Simon Says Anything Goes | June Designer Spotlight

Hi Everyone! It’s Wednesday, yay! I can’t believe how quickly time went by, I had so much fun playing along with this month’s Designer Spotlight over at Simon Says Stamp.

Anything Goes Showcasing WPLUS9

It’s as simple as linking your project up on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog and one random winner will win a $50 Gift Voucher! You don’t need to use WPLUS 9 products but if you have some goodies in your collection it’s the perfect time to show them off!

I started by creating an A2 sized stitched rectangle with blue striped pattern paper and die cut a stitched circle. I then trimmed the bottom of the circle and added a pink scallop edge.

Next, I stamped a trio of solid stamps from Summer Citrus with Hero Arts Lime Green, SSS Melon and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks. For an added touch, I heat set gold embossing powder with the outline stamps using Versamark Ink.

For the main sentiment, I stamped “Perfect” with the same Lime Green ink and heat set the “you are” with white embossing powder on black card stock. I then added “Love you bunches” and added 3D foam tape for dimension.

To finish off the card I added coordinating sequins and glossy accents.
