Happy Sunday everyone! Today I wanted to share another fun ‘soak up the sun’ project using Simply Stamps, we have a few end of summer BBQs coming up and I thought a wine tag would pair perfectly with our hostess gift.
It’s all about Rosé All Day, Heart shaped Sunglasses and of course my favorite – the Beach Bicycle stamp, you can find these summer gems here.
To create the panel, I started by trimming a piece of card stock to 3” inches by 8” inches and stamped a pattern using the Beach Bicycle Craft Stamp. Once I was happy with the results I rounded the corners, and scored the fold line at the 3” mark using my bone folder. Last step was running a circle die through my machine; a circle punch would also work perfectly!
Of course I had to add a little shaker action and die cut two 2.75 inch circles using pattern and acetate paper. I personally prefer the “no bulk” look and since I was using mostly confetti I created two frames to keep everything together. I glued down the first circle frame and then added my shaker mix; next I glued down the acetate circle around the edge and finally added the second frame. I made sure to press firmly around the edges to ensure the shaker elements stay put.
For a little more interest, I stamped and colored the Heart Shaped Sunglasses, I added Glossy Accents to give it a little extra something. For the sentiment I decided on the Rosé All Day craft stamp on black card stock using white embossing powder. To finish everything off I added the Taylor Elliott To From Tag stamp on the bottom corner. I also couldn’t resist a coordinating bonus card:
