Hello Everyone!
I can’t even believe how fast this summer flew by! I’m so excited for grade 2 but it’s crazy my little guy isn’t so little anymore.
Encouragement cards are key and I love adding little notes in Ry’s lunch, I happen to have the Stitched Heart Envelope die from Lawn Fawn that’s perfect for this. If you don’t have a similar die you can trim a piece of pattern paper (3.5″x 2.25″) to create a note card.
I decided to keep it simple and stamp on pattern paper using the Back To School and Love you to the moon and back craft stamps by Simply Stamps. Ry loves emojis and the Smiley emoji craft stamp is one of his favorites, to bring them to life I colored them using my Spectrum Noir markers (CT1& CR1) and to finish off the card I added diamond stickles and glossy accents.
As a bonus I decided to create a quick and easy check list tag that Ry can take with him and hang on his hook at school:
